Nectarines, also called zucc, have nothing to do with the plums. Many believe that the nectarines are fruit grown across the plums with peaches. In reality nectarines are a variety of peaches. Unlike these, nectarines are characterized by a smooth skin redness and are more soft and sweet.
The difference with the nectarines white is that the white look more like the peach white, more juicy and sweet, and the yellow, with the peach yellow, more fibrous.
