Pine nuts are the fruits of pine (Pinus pinea) Like all nuts can be eaten raw or roasted. Its preservation is about one year if you're in a cool, dry place.
The pine nuts are rich in minerals like potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, folic acid and calcium. Its richness in calcium and magnesium makes them highly desirable in stages of growth or as an alternative or complement to the dairy. People with osteoporosis and decalcification on sprockets find some good allies. Its mono-and polyunsaturated fatty acids makes them very suitable for cholesterol and cardiovascular disease. The sprockets are ideal for athletes and hikers as sparingly give us a lot of energy and nutrients. In deficiency states, fatigue and anemia (Source of Iron) should chew slowly to improve its digestibility and assimilation.
The sprockets are the only nuts that do not come from plantations but is collected from the forest. This means that do not bear any pesticide or chemical.
